Empire
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Overall:
The first Death Star has been destroyed by Luke Skywalker. Now, the survivors of the Battel of Yavin must flee for their lives and find a new base. Taking up residence on the ice-world of Hoth, the Rebels struggle against the elements as they strive to remain hidden long enough to regroup.
Darth Vader, now obssessed with finding Luke Skywalker, budding Jedi and kick-ass pilot, stalks the galaxy trying to locate the youth and his Rebel friends. He is triumphant when he locates the hidden base, and sets out immediately to erradicate it and take young Skywalker under his wing in a bid to win the youth's loyalty to the Dark Side and turn him into a powerful weapon for the Emperor.
The Rebels, warned by the incompetence of the Imperial Fleet commanders, have time to prepare an evacuation and a defence screen. Luke Skywalker evades Vader's clutches for the time being and, at the direction of a vision featuring the late Obi-Wan, heads off to the planet Dagobah to seek out a Jedi Master by the name of Yoda and continue on the path of becoming the last of the Jedi Knights.
Likes:
This is my least favourite of the Original Trilogy. My only gushing point is Rogue Squadron. Best squadron ever.
And Yoda. Yoda scared the bejeebers out of me when I was little, but he's funny. And he hits people with his stick. A lot. Which is fun.
Dislikes:
*shrugs* This one just didn't do too much for me. It's a fine piece of craftmanship, but for me, there's a distinct lack of...something.
It may be the lack of intense action, which is odd, cause I usually really go for the character development stuff in movies. I think it may be because this movie is nothing but character development...
I'll watch it, but it's not my first choice.
In Closing:
The saga continues and is a must-see for those of you that have started watching the Original Trilogy. Star Wars had a definitive ending and stands alone well, but you can't just watch that and not watch this.
That's just...doing things half-arsed, as it were.
